The Toys For Tots 2008 CD is done!
Memphis Evans' band Great Uncle Helmer is participating in a project for children in need of toys this holiday season. At all of Great Uncle Helmer's remaining 2008 shows, if you bring a new toy to donate you will receive a FREE CD featuring EXCLUSIVE TRACKS from Great Uncle Helmer, Doc's Kids, Mighty Fairly, Jonathan Earl, and Lee Meadows and the Lark.
All toys will go to children in need. Each band is contributing two songs - an original composition and a traditional holiday song. Here are all the details of the GUH shows where you can get this CD:

La Historia: The Doc's Kids Toys For Tots Toy Drive began in 2005 when Doc's Kids booked several shows and created a Christmas CD called "Meet Us Under The Mistletoe" and donated all the proceeds to Toys For Tots. The following year they invited their friends to join in and 2006's drive included Doc's Kids, Great Uncle Helmer, Mighty Fairly, Lee Meadows & the Lark, and Wolves & Ravens.
In 2007, they did it all again, this time including Doc's Kids, Great Uncle Helmer, Mighty Fairly, Wolves & Ravens, the Tommy Bentz Band, and Jonathan Earl.
