The Pencil Bag

A bag of pencils had therein
6 pencils long and tall and thin
A seventh pencil very short
Was teased and made target for sport

But see those drawings on the wall
He is in them, in them all
He alone has a pointy head
The others aren't sharpened yet

He knows this, too, yet doesn't gloat
He lets them laugh in their long throats
He sees the drawings on the wall
And knows he's in them, in them all
